Athena IPW Pest Control

Athena IPW is a formula designed for the effective control of pests and moulds, acting through direct contact to eliminate them. When used according to instructions, Athena IPW penetrates the plants and coats the foliar surface, halting the spread of unwanted biotic infections.

Athena IPW breaks down the protective barriers used by insects and moulds, making their survival against the formula impossible. Using naturally-derived compounds to reduce the impact of mould significantly lessens the stress on plants.

This allows plants to direct their energy more efficiently towards vegetative growth and flowering, improving both the quantity and quality of the yield, without the risk of harmful chemicals.

Instructions for use

Mix the product in clean water and spray when the first signs of mould appear. Apply in the absence of intense light or shortly before lights are turned on. Thoroughly cover the leaves, both on the underside and top side.

For prevention (no pests present):

From the vegetative phase until the third week of flowering, dilute between 15 and 24 ml per litre. Apply twice a week.

For treatment (if pests are present):

During the vegetative phase until the third week of flowering, mix between 24 and 32 ml per litre. Spray three times a week.

For infestations:

Dissolve 32 ml per litre and apply for two consecutive days, then rest for one day (e.g., spray on day 1 and day 2, rest on day 3). Follow this pattern for 9 days.

Additional considerations:

1. It is important to feed the plants with their usual nutrients before applying Athena IPW.
2. Dilute the product according to the recommended proportions.
3. The treatment can be applied from the start of the vegetative cycle until the end of the third week of flowering.
4. To prevent mould, maintain the temperature at around 22°C and regulate humidity between 55% and 65% using dehumidifiers.
5. Ensure to spray when high-intensity lights are turned off to avoid burns (it is recommended to use work lights or green lights, not grow lights).
6. Start by applying the product on the substrate and then work your way up the stem, thoroughly covering both the front and back of the leaves.
7. Allow the treatment to dry completely (between 3 and 4 hours) before reactivating intense lights.
